"A Life That Almost Was"
By: Your Grandpa Schnug
Baby boy, we think of you, with hearts so full of pain. We never met, but one things true, we'll all see you again.
Can't understand the reason, yet,
Why life for you was short,
Our future's never a sure bet,
with family, love, and support.
To us, you have been stolen away,
Ripped and torn from our clinging grasp.
But god had a plan, he put it in play,
Someday we'll have answers to questions we ask.
Till then, just our faith, will have to see us through
And knowing that out lord does what he has to do
So here on this earth, we commit you to the ground
But we know that your spirit, will always be around
You're a part of our hearts and our family
You'll always be in our memories
You'll never get to do the things a little boy does,
But we'll always remember you, a life that almost was.
We'er all gonna join you in Heaven sometime,
You wait for us, Holding God's hand,
We'll trust that you're safe, and doing just fine
And try to forget what we dont understand.
Just know in your heart that we Love You,
And will till the end of all time,
It's Love that can't Die and will always be true
Unbreakable, permanet knots, intertwined.
No, you'll never do the things a little boy does
But we'll always remember you a life that almost was.
